about
Sundub takes the first track off their debut album ‘Burden of Love’ and gives it a vintage dub treatment in a collaboration with dub reggae engineer Victor Rice in “Burn Down the Place Dub.” Throwing it back to 70s-inspired dub reggae paying tribute to King Tubby, Lee Scratch Perry, and Dennis Brown, Rice displays his expertise gained through being a fixture in the 90s New York City reggae and ska scene. Together, SunDub and Rice combine the band’s message of community and unity and pair it with a sound that suits listeners of both the new and old school. This is the first track off of a remix EP that will come out on Color Red during spring 2020.
